Unwind and Dine
Waterfall offers our members and guests delicious dining in multiple venues in our main clubhouse and at The Lodge – all with those magnificent views that are a signature of Waterfall.
Overlooking Lake Burton
The first stop of any member or guest at Waterfall is always the Burton Porch at the Lodge. The panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Burton 800 feet below is one of the best clubhouse views in the world. Tens of thousands of pictures have been taken from this spot – a major Hollywood movie was even filmed there. Enjoy eclectic, ala carte dining at its best while there.
The Overlook serves casual fare, cocktails from an outdoor bar, and al fresco dining from April to November. Outdoor fireplaces extend the dining season from the cool spring, to the autumn leaf season, all the way to the holidays.
The Overlook is also the perfect place for our youngest members to dine. With bocce ball and an indoor game room and theatre, your kids will be within view and well taken care of.
Move inside to the main Lodge Dining Room, an elegant setting for special occasions, group dining or a quiet date night. Featuring similar majestic views of Lake Burton, the upstairs dining room is the favorite place to dine indoors or host your upcoming party or corporate retreat. The Lounge downstairs in The Lodge serves both eclectic and casual fare with several HDTVs and a 24-seat movie theatre to catch your favorite sporting event.
The 19th Hole
The 19th Hole overlooking our 18th green from our main clubhouse will provide you with a great lunch, serving your needs while you are experiencing the many activities in the Athletic Center and on the golf course. It features a lounge serving member cocktails, wine and beer. The original fireplace from the former farmhouse on the property is roaring seasonally and HDTVs allow members and guests to enjoy their favorite event in a casual setting. The 19th Hole is versatile enough to host outings and parties with dining inside or outside under our covered rocking chair porch.
While playing golf, the Sandtrap is an enticing house positioned on the golf course after holes 9 and 15, serving grab & go lunch, snacks, and cold drinks all on an honor system – with an attendant on the weekends and busy holidays to help you with all your needs. If the course is not busy, you can stop and enjoy the outside patio while you catch your breath, taking in the views across the course all the way to North Carolina.
